Program: 6 days and 6 nights. Sunday to Saturday.

Maximum group size:  4 guests.
Catch-and-release fishing in rivers.

Included:

  • Six night accommodation in double stateroom with private bathroom aboard the Rio Azul M/Y
  • One professional English-speaking guide for every two guests
  • Full-service crew
  • All meals including beverages, Pisco Sour cocktails, beer and wine
  • Guided excursions
  • Use of boats as required by activities.

Not included:

  • Air fare
  • Charter flights or land transfers to/from airport to base port
  • Lodging and transfers prior to or after fishing program
  • Meals , drinks, telephone in Puerto Chacabuco hotel,
  • Use of fishing or diving gear and fishing flies;
  • Items of a personal nature such as telephone, laundry, gratuities
  • Other items not specifically mentioned as included.

Airport transfers plus Hotel in base port:
Guests arrive to Balmaceda airport the day prior to boat departure (Saturday) and stay the night at a great hotel located a the base port, Puerto Chacabuco.

Cost: $350 per person for Hotel & round trip land transfers:

  • Balmaceda airport - Puerto Chacabuco
  • Base port - Balmaceda airport.
  • One night accommodation in Hotel Loberias de Aysen. Double occupancy room.

Activity level:  Easy to medium; intermediate-technical fishing expertise.
Departures: November to May.
Begins/ends:  In Puerto Montt from October to December and  Puerto Chacabuco from January to May.  

Season:  October to May

Reservations: In order to secure space, a 50% or 100% advance payment is required at the time of booking ( see rates ) The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. 50% advance payments are non refundable unless the client finds a replacement guest.We strongly suggest early reservations due to limited availability. We also recommend cancellation insurance for your trip.

  • Mayor credit cards. For credit card payment consider additional 3% over total .

Gratuities: Our guideline for gratuities is $400 to $550 per guest. This to be distributed by the head guide among the crew. Guides generally fish an 8 hour day, but they will cater to the serious angler who fishes longer hours, in this case guide tips should be adjusted accordingly.

Note: All outdoor activities have a risk of personal injury. We strongly suggest that our guests to get insurance that will cover such risks. Rios Azules Limitada or any of its associates shall not be or become liable or responsible in any way in connection with any loss, injury or damage to or in respect to any person or property howsoever caused or arising. Due to acts of god or adverse climatic conditions some activities can be changed or canceled, specially if the outfitter estimates that there is higher risk for an individual or the group. If canceled, we will do everything possible so the activities are substituted for others of similar nature. Guides and/or lodge staff may take pictures or videos of guests and these images may be used in promotional material without the need of consent unless guest specifically requests this material not to be used.
